First impressions: Samsung Ace – slightly naughty without kicking

It weighs absolutely nothing, but the first impression of the Samsung Ace leaves certainly not something quite powerful impression.

We had the first time between hands in Barcelona, ​​but the Samsung Ace were already ahead of Mobile World Congress sent out in Danish stores. We’ve taken a look at the new case, which is not only a feather weight on the scales.

It weighs only 113 grams. And once you get it between your hands is the first thought that the battery must be missing – it weighs absolutely nothing. In terms of size it has almost the same dimensions as an iPhone 3G, but it weighs about 30 grams less, and it shows clearly when we are down at this end of the weight scale.

The design is very similar to the aging rival from Apple. The screen is 3.5 inches and the only difference on the front is a Samsung logo and a home button that is framed with a metal edge – instead of being nedlejret as the iPhone.

Rear differs markedly when it is done in an extremely lightweight composite materials that simultaneously works very impact resistant. I can not really find out if I liked the balance of the phone. It is as if in some way topvægt and the touch screen is the absolute heaviest in the unit. It is not outright annoying, but Ace is just different light than phones, I have recently had their hands,

Ace is equipped with the Android 2.2 and Samsung’s own TouchWiz 3.0 is placed over the operating system. It works quickly and elegantly, when you want around in the menus and the screen responds lightly finger commands. It works fine.

Phone offers turbo 3G, Wi-Fi with DLNA support, and so is Ace equipped with 158 MB of internal memory and an included memory card of 2 GB. Short memory expandable with up to 32 GB.

Samsung Ace also features quite a decent camera at 5 megapixels, which I have in the past few days have tested a little closer.

First impression of this part is fine, but I do not quite understand why the music player stops playing music, because I want to take a picture. The camera section, I also just come to terms with a feature where the lock / power button to lock the camera so it is impossible to make anything. What might be useful, I do not understand completely.
